About Otto Kildegaard
Otto lives and works in Chimacum, WA where he runs Palindrome Woodworks, a small cabinetry and furniture business. After taking furniture making and design courses at the Evergreen State College and getting a BA he has worked as a carpenter building and remodeling houses while amassing the tooling to pursue more and more fine woodworking. He was a student in the Traditions of Furniture course at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking before starting his business. Otto is an accomplished design-builder who will spend the time it takes to hone the details. The world of woodworking vocabulary, the transition a project makes from in the imagination to on the workbench, and many things besides are sources of joy for Otto.
